These are two needle felted Guinea Pig plushies I've just finished, mini versions of my RL pigs Sir Simon and Master Joe 
Needle felting is so simple and easy to pick up, and you can create absolutely anything! All you need is roving wool, some kind of toy stuffing and barbed felting needles. Stab the ball of stuffing into a shape you want, stab the coloured wool all over the stuffing and add wool details like legs and ears! So stress relieving too 
No stitching, thread, glue...
These are my first attempts at needle felting and I'm really happy how they turned out, they took a few days each - I've already started doing one of our sweet little dog Alf, who went over the rainbow bridge to heaven 29/5/14. If you want to try it you should look it up online - you can buy all the things you need from Etsy and Ebay

I've only heard of this art very recently and would love to try it one day. these guinea pigs are gorgeous
